Update your launchers: BadWolfMC is now running Minecraft 26.2!
This has been a substantial update behind the scenes, bringing not only Minecraft’s latest features to the network but also major upgrades to our Resource Pack and pets system, along with fresh resource worlds on Alpha and Gamma.
Welcome to Chaos Cubed
Minecraft 26.2, also known as Chaos Cubed, introduces an unusual collection of new things to discover, build with, bounce around, and inevitably weaponize.
The update includes the new Sulfur Caves biome and its resident Sulfur Cubes, along with sulfur and cinnabar building blocks, sulfur spikes, geysers, new music, a Java Edition Friends List, experimental Vulkan rendering support, and numerous other changes and fixes.

BadWolfMC Resource Pack v10.8
Alongside the server update, we have released BadWolfMC Resource Pack v10.8.
This is another major update to the pack, featuring new hats, swords, updated and newly introduced models, and an entirely new tool set coming soon! There are plenty of other additions tucked into the release as well, so keep an eye out as you explore.
Version 10.8 also marks the first Resource Pack contributions from GolighRunes and Rooster. We are delighted to begin incorporating their work and deeply appreciate the time, talent, and creativity they have contributed.

A Major Pets Overhaul
Our pets system has also received one of the largest updates in its history, with approximately 80% of the underlying plugin rewritten. Pets are now built upon their vanilla counterparts, allowing their movement and behavior to better reflect what they are supposed to be.
The rewrite also removes the plugin’s reliance on internal Minecraft server code, which should make it more stable and maintainable as Minecraft continues to evolve.
That foundation supports a range of new and improved features, including:
- New pet skills
- Redesigned skill trees
- Support for custom pet types
- MiniMessage formatting integration
- Improved underlying behavior and compatibility
- Much more still waiting to be explored
The migration appears to have gone smoothly, but this was a significant technical overhaul. A few derps, unexpected behaviors, or especially creative pets may still emerge. Please let staff know when something does not seem to be working correctly.
Fresh Resource Worlds
The resource worlds on both Alpha and Gamma have been reset for the update.
Any homes or saved locations from the previous resource worlds may now point somewhere entirely different. Please exercise caution before teleporting, particularly if you value your inventory, experience levels, or dignity.
These resets provide everyone with fresh terrain containing the new world-generation features introduced in Minecraft 26.2.
